I do LOVE this time of year! Even living in Florida, where we don’t see a significant change in seasonal weather, we can still decorate everything FALL. It’s also family time, and mine and my husband’s birthday month, though these days we try NOT to celebrate with two birthday cakes like we used to. And best of all, it’s Thanksgiving month! Let us not overlook that. We have so much to be thankful for – I know I do! The short list is: I’m thankful to live in a free country, even with all of it’s tumultuous headlines. I’m thankful for my friends and family and the many blessings I receive through them. I’m thankful for new life and our two precious grand baby girls and the great joy they bring us!
It’s not just Thanksgiving time that we’re to be thankful though. Scripture tells us to “give thanks in all circumstances” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). While many circumstances, deadlines, and unknowns can threaten to overwhelm us, we can be certain and sure of one thing. God will never leave us or forsake us. He is always faithful. And He made a way for you and for me to live eternally with him forever. He did that when he gave his one and only Son, that who ever believes in him will have eternal life.(John 3:16). That, my friend, is certainly something to be thankful for!
Something else I’m thankful for this month is the release of my New Devotional Book, Daily Inspirations From God’s Word, A 365 Day Mini Devotional.
I am so excited to offer this devotional for both men and women. It’s got 52 bite-sized themes full of scripture and it’s short and to the point. This will make a great gift for just about anyone on your list, whether they know their Bible or not!
Pre-orders are going on right now, from November 6 – November 16th. For every pre-order, you’ll be entered to win a FREE copy to give away to someone else!
