Doreen Wennberg has been involved in women’s ministry since 1999. As an avid Bible student she is equally passionate about teaching others the truths in God’s Word.
This wife and mother of two adult children has a heart for sharing the wisdom she has acquired. Whether it’s teaching prayer through leading, helping other’s make the connection of dependence on God, or leading other’s to a deeper understanding of scripture.
She loves God’s people and has been privileged and blessed to serve on mission trips to Santiago, Dominican Republic, and New Mexico, U.S. She loves to see God’s people worship in Spirit and in truth.
She has served in various roles with women’s conferences, primarily her home area of Tampa Bay as well as throughout the United States. In church, she’s loved teaching VBS and Sunday school. She’s loved serving in women’s ministry, leading Bible studies, and Life groups.
In the community evening women’s Bible Study Fellowship Class, (BSF), she has served in various positions. For a number of years she served as a discussion group leader, then as the former speaker and substitute teaching leader, (STL). And her final role as Class Administrator helped broaden her appreciation and understanding of the many aspects of serving in ministry. She retired from BSF in May, 2019.
