Statement of Faith

*The Bible is the Holy Inspired Word of God without error. All scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16 (ESV)

*God is eternal and exists in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Before the mountains were born or before You had given birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are {the eternal} God. Psalm 90:2 (AMP), Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19 (ESV)

*Man is created in the image of God. Man's fall into sin caused eternal separation from God. And the Lord God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever." Genesis 3:22-23 (NIV)

*Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who was born of a virgin birth. He lived a sinless life and is fully God and fully man. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" (which means "God with us"). Matthew 1:22-23 (NIV). God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NIV). But when the set time had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law. 2Corinthians 5:21 (NIV).

*Jesus Christ made atonement for sin through his sacrificial and substitutionary death. With his own blood - not the blood of goats and calves - he entered the MOST HOLY Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever. Hebrews 9:12 (NLT). So also, Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. Hebrews 9:28 (NLT).

*The Lord was bodily resurrected three days after he was crucified. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered he had said this, and they believed both the Scriptures and what Jesus had said. John 2:22 (NLT).

*Salvation is the gift of God by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV).

*The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, indwells all who come to believe in Christ. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit. Ephesians 1:13 (NIV).

*I believe in the glorious second coming of Christ; for eternal salvation for all who put their faith in Him. I believe; that there is eternal separation for all who reject Christ. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might. 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 (NIV). All people will one day stand before the judgment seat of God. Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is LORD. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10-11 (NIV).
